CHOCTAWHATCHEE HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1969

Chuck Summers

I had some of the best years of my life at Choctaw. The friends, the activities, the teachers (thanks Mrs. Almond!) all made my high school years enjoyable.

I also met my wife-to-be (and my wife-that-is) there, so Choctaw will always hold a warm place in my heart. I came to know the Lord Jesus during those years as well.

Since Choctaw, I went off to Georgia Tech, where I squeezed four years into five. Along the way, I spent 3 1/2 years on a remote Island in the Pacific (Kwajalein, for you WWII buffs).

We adopted six children, had one the hard way, and have one grandchild (I have plenty of pictures). We are building a web-based consumer products business as well.

We now live in a suburb of Atlanta, Ga, where I work (Quellan,www.quellan.com), play, and enjoy my family. One of my daughters has three horses, one of which she shows every year.

Anyone coming from Choctaw 69 coming through Atlanta is always welcome to call and/or come by. Chuck and Becky Summers (Reams - class of '71) chucksummers@comcast.net
