Jeff Sharon
Jeff Sharon, age 60, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Sunday
evening, Oct. 3, 2010, at North Okaloosa Medical Center.
...He was born in Pensacola, Fla., on Aug. 15, 1950, to Jefferson Davis
Sr. and Selma Evelyn Sharon. Jeff was a lifetime resident of Okaloosa
County. He graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1969, where he
played football and went on to play college football at Jacksonville State.
He loved to fish, hunt, and took great pride in his yard and its appearance.
Jeff enjoyed racing motorcycles, restoring old cars, and was a Shriner.
Jeff was proud to be a member of Florida Tribe of Eastern Creek Indians
as well as Woodlawn Baptist Church. He also served his country in the
U.S. Navy. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Debbi Sharon of Crestview; sons,
J.D. Sharon and his wife Katie of Crestview, Josh Sharon and his wife
Candis of Crestview, Jordan Sharon and his girlfriend Chelsey Rollings
of Niceville, Fla., and Joel Sharon and his wife Jenn of Crestview; and
a precious granddaughter, Kenzi Grace Sharon. Jeff also has three brothers,
Elliott Sharon and his wife Ann of Bonifay, Fla., Frank Sharon of Niceville,
and Bud Sharon of Choctaw Beach, Fla.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews
and extended family.
A celebration of Jeff's life will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at
Woodlawn Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with the Revs. Lee Cadenhead and Patrick
Pfrimmer officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 9:30 a.m.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the EXODOS
Ministry, P.O. Box 1710, Crestview, FL 32536
