Well
a lot has happened in 36 years to say the least. I was one of those late bloomers
and did not go to college until my youngest child was in 5th grade. I now have
a Masters in Public Administration from UWF. But, am I using it? Not really,
I am teaching 2nd grade here in Texas
and LOVE IT! I really never thought I would be a teacher, but the looks on
my students faces when they grasp a new topic is an awesome feeling that nothing
can replace. My dad died in 1994 and we moved to Florida in 1997 to take care
of my mother. I was there when our 30th reunion was being held but no one contacted
me, so I missed yet another one. Ah.. not to be. In December 2001,
I became a grandmother for the first time. A beautiful little girl named Mackenzie
Rose. Then again in Feb. 2005 my daughter blessed me with
another grandchild, this time a boy, Christian Ryan. We moved my Mom with us to Texas in 2002 and plan on staying here Unless something better comes along. Patricia Dick-Crow |
