Choctawhatchee HS Class of 69

After High School I moved with my parents to St. Louis, MO. I attended the University of Missouri, St Louis and obtained a degree in Physical Education. I wanted to teach and coach. This was when the schools were cutting back on PE programs and I could not find a job. I ran a retail store and worked as the Physical Director at a local YMCA. Looking for a better career I got into the Insurance Industry in Claims,

One of my part time jobs was a DJ for private parties where I met my wife. This was New Years Eve December of 1981. We married in 1982 and I moved to Houston, TX where I continued in claims. I currently work for an independent service.

I have one daughter, Christy who just graduated from college, looking to teach and coach also. She was a 4 sport athlete in High School and made dad proud. I was able to coach part time at her school for 4 years and got to coach her one year in basketball.

Most people may remember me from playing the guitar in the Choctaw Stage Band. After several years I picked up my guitar again and have played in our church band for the last seven years. I have really enjoyed playing again. My family is very involved in church activities and my wife is now seeking the ministry.
